I've used vp3G_v3.0.0 ROM for about a week now and it is a LOT more stable than the 'pre-release'

It is also MUCH lighter and seems to use less power

I got it as well with the unofficial ROM. I have only gotten it once or twice since the using the vp3G_v3.0.0 ROM.

it turns off the screen while leaving the device running. Very similar to the function in WMP (toggle screen) and in ShutXP.

I have it enabled on button 3... press power button to turn the screen back on

Tried to look it up, but no luck. I'll keep on trying ain't gonna give up.

But a few questions if you please....

1. are most of the setting options available? ie. GPS configuration etc.

2. What about phone operations, do you have the conference call button with it. (caz i remember the WM5 didn't have that)

3. You say lighter, but functionality is there anything that's missing that you would like to have on the phone now?

Basically what the cooker did was to remove as many of the things that he didn't like and make them as standalone cab files, so you can install it if you want.

He also bundled a few light utilities into it, mostly vj utilities.

So:
1. GPS is there
2. I don't think i've ever seen a conf call button on any rom version
3. nope, most of the items removed are in standalone cabs... I've copied the whole group to my SD card, so if for some reason I need it, I can install it.

Did the search,

quick question. Do you find that most of the features are still available. For example conference calling etc.

Again i only state this because with WM5 didn't see that, and now i do w/ WM6, so does the cook version have anything that you think is missing from the one you posted at the beginning of the post?


After posting i've downloaded the cooked ROM, i like some of the features that are showed on the picks.

Again if you see any problems please let me know and i will do like wise.
