Actually it says that the maximum size Micro SD card is 2GB. I've never seen an HC Micro SD card. It doesn't seem like you'd need an HC Micro SD card either considering that a standard Micro SD can be had at 2GB.

You can with a wm6 update.

Is WM6 going to change the hardware to allow Micro SD cards over 2GB? My understanding was that the 2GB limit was dictated by the 8525 hardware.

from what I understand the MicroSD limit is 2gb, SDHC has a different limit... Currently 8gb I think.

The form factor is the same and the WM6 OS can address that space... I don't know if the hardware in the 8525 is compatible.

hi i have the cingular 8525. i bought an 8gig micro SD HC class4 from sandisk. IT WORKS GREAT! I curently have about 7gigs of files and no problems. note i have the WM6 update from AT&T installed.

There is a driver on here for wm5 axims that allows you to use sdhc cards. I wonder if this driver would allow micro sdhc cards on this wm5 phone.

There is a 4gb microsd not hc card out there. I think Julie had a post about it before. Besides that one most 4gbs are hc, and most 2gb and lower are regular sd.
