Rad's SPB Rebuild

With the new release of PocketPlus4, I decided to do a rebuild using the SPB versions of the SBSH apps that I typically use.

There isn't a direct 1 to 1 matchup, but it is close enough for Gov't work

Pocket Plus instead of iLauncher
Phone Suite instead of PhoneWeaver, Call Firewall, and Messaging tab
Diary instead of PocketBreeze

Many of the SPB apps integrate better between each other that 3rd party apps, so it is better to be in for a penny, in for a pound. There are a few cases where SBSH apps work better or integrate with each other better, so nothing unusual with that

My other standard apps include:
Tascal Registry Editor
Seven Push Mail Client
PocketCM
LiveSearch
OneNote
MS Reader
etc

There may be a few more apps, but there are so many features in Pocket Plus, It will take a bit to explore all the options, so I can get all the features I want. (like the Button Manager feature of PP and blacklist in PhS)

How do you find that combination, I was wondering why you don't have Mobile shell in there?

I've always used pplus with Mobile shell on ax?
If and when, why can't we pray?

between PP, MS and PS there is a lot of redundancy

MobShell is like a superset of the features in most of the SPB productline... The PP launcher and tabs, the custom menu I never used, the nowscreen, the contact manager

So, By using PP and PS I get most of the features I use and very little redundancy (mem use)

I had been using CallFirewall to both run a blacklist and to log my calls into calendar appointments

I didn't install this in my SPB rebuild as Phone Suite came with call filtering built in.

I had been looking for another method of logging calls and I found this:
CallCalendar2

Very nice little app, the appt is even better that the one in CallFirewall

I've made very few changes to this setup for a while... I think I like it.

Very stable and I don't struggle to access features I want to reach

I have added the new google maps prog, it works reasonably well even without a GPS, just using cell towers for a generalized location

I have also added the HTC Action screen, but really don't use it much. It needs to be customized a bit before I'd really use it. Perhaps configured with predefined email recipients and mail accounts...

Observation, I can't get the new google maps to work with mobile triangulation in Australia?
