softkeyboard issue
It really bugs me when I'm using the slide out keyboard and the softkeyboard pops out everytime I change to a new text field. I'm looking for a reg hack that will keep the softkeyboard icon in the task bar so that i can manually activate it but stop it from opening all by itself.

Any clues???

yeah, I never found a solution for this either...
I made a similiar post regarding this on xda and someone came up with a reg tweak that whacked the whole softkeyboard but that seemd a bit draconian to me... here's the link

ZeNoKeyboard might work with your tilt rouge9. Give it a try it's freeware.
