Yep. Both.

I mapped the PPT to press = alt-tab, hold = voice dial

The hermes tweaker I used to:

Yeah, the PTT hack is great. It's an annoying button otherwise. I have it mapped to Voice Command in my case.

Haven't used the tweaker though. I generally prefer to go hacking into the registry myself.

Here's a couple of others:

Hermes SIM/CID unlock <-- Did this one the other day. Worked beautifully.

Hermes Extension ROM Unlocker/Unhider <-- Did this one too. Cleaned out some junk that Cingular puts in there that I don't want installed during a hard reset.

Today Plugin that allows you to change between GSM and WCDMA <-- I use this one as well. I love it because I frequently find myself on fringe areas of 3G.. I like forcing it to stay GPRS.. Easier than putting the band page back into play.. Much faster..

Not a tweak or app, but just as needed:

ORA Stereo Headset Adaptor for HTC TyTN $19.90 after shipping

or this one for a few $ more

HTC TyTN Audio Jack Converter 11 pin to 3.5mm, #75H00522-00M - MobilePlanet Inc.

Hey Boxwave, since I see you're here in this thread... Any chance of coming up with a cradle that has some speakers to it? Kinda like those silly iPod docks? I want a cradle, but I very much want a dock like that with decent speakers, and that I can still charge/sync my phone with.. Seen 'em for the 8125, but I understood the speakers weren't that great..

Yeah, something like htat. Don't much care for the looks of that one, but if it were the only one out there, I'd suffer.

Why not a bluetooth stereo speaker set? Maybe that's what I'll hack my old Logitech headphones into.

Thought about that. I actually seen a set when I was at the Cingular store buying my 8525. And I may go that route, but then I'd still want to buy a cradle as well. If I can just do two in one, I think I'd rather do that.

As of now, I don't think we have plans to make something like that, but it is a good idea. You might want to talk to to our customer service department at Community | Accessories by BoxWave and tell them your idea.

If you do, I'd like to remind you of Rule #2

I'd think that a memory card reader or even a USB hub built into it.

What about a Speaker phone.... yea, that is the ticket, the USB port is wired for it, may as well use it

:D
