So what are you guys/gals using for cases?

I've been having a hard time finding a case that I like for my 8525..

I like the armor case by Boxwave... Problem is, I had one with my 8125, and I had a bad habit of opening the case and it would go flying out at the most inopportune times.. Plus, my signal strength dropped quite significantly unfortunately.

I've been looking at some of the leather cases out there, but to me they leave too much exposed.

So what are you guys/gals using for cases?

I picked up a generic 10.00 case for large cell phones at walmart.

nothing fancy but it slides right in and holds it well

I'm with Chris. My Wizard stays in my pocket. Much easier than anything else. Besides, since it's Bluetooth, it rarely comes out of my pocket for phone calls, anyway.

if your case is the same size and form factor as a wizard/mda then I have a case that I absolutely love. I got off ebay for like $10 but I have seen it locally for $15 and it saw it in a small town mall. Let me know if your phone is that form factor and I will if I can find a pict or take one and post it.

Sena makes some really great cases. I have one on my Treo 700wx.

vilasman, yeah, the 8525 is roughly the same form factor as the 8125.. In fact, I was very briefly using my stock 8125 case with it.. Was a tight fit though.. And I found out about the magnet and display issue and said no more..

Radimus, would you be so kind to snap a pic? I'm interested in seeing it.. Thanks!

Chris and uwaku, I agree, the pocket makes a great case...if I'm wearing something like Dockers. Problem is, I never do. Always wearing jeans, and it always seems like I'm pressing the buttons when I do put it in my pocket.. Not to mention the other objects I have a tendency to carry around in my pockets.. :)

Kulnet, thanks for the idea.. I'm going to go check their site out and see if I find anything I like.. I had forgotten about Sena cases..

Piel Frama make the most beautiful cases in the world! Moreover, I find that they give more protection than one would normally credit soft leather (rather than the armour plated cases one can buy). The belt clip system makes it secure and convenient to carry and use and the only complaint is that I have to remove the device to reset it on occassion.

Thanks Radimus.. Not quite what I'm looking for.. But looks pretty secure overall though..

Jogga.. Thanks! I'll check them out too.. I'm kinda thinking more and more that a soft leather case is the way to go for the protection I want for it.. Will definitely check them out!

You guys were one of the first I looked at, BoxWave.. :) I'm just being particularly picky when it comes to a case with this thing.

I'm just hoping you guys come up with a dock with speakers.. Very intersested in that..

My 4700 rolls inthe bare. I find all cases to be bulky for my needs.

Like I said it was a cheap wal-mart case that just happened to fit it. Personally, I prefer a minimalist case that is easy to insert and remove the device from and offers protection from bumps and such. Don't need any fancy flaps and pockets to add bulk.

Prima

I've been using Prima cases and have been very pleased with quality, fit, price and customer service. They seem to be a fast growing compnay that is paying attention.
