I don't think I have the patience to wait until my contract (12 Months) is up.....I only bought it two weeks ago....!!!! I thought about buying a Zinc or an Orbit from O2, but to be perfectly honest, I'm now glad I opted for the TyTn for three reasons (a bit off topic...but hey what the hell). :soap:
1. O2 can't even release the Zinc (manufactured by ASUS) on time. The issues they are having with the device must be pretty major....what chance would one have of ever getting a wm6 upgrade. !!!!! unless the delay is for WM6???? anyway got fed up waiting.
2. With my previous device, an ipaq hx4700, I felt the screen and form factor were better suited to the on-screen popup keyboard. Don't get me wrong the O2 Orbit is a great looking device with built in GPS a MASSIVE pull, but I don't think i would have been happy trying to type emails and sms messages on a 2.4" screen....believe me, I've tried on the TyTn

...Long live the Slide out Keyboard. :approve:
3. If HTC don't come out with a WM6 upgrade for the TyTn and O2's Zinc appears with WM6, All is not lost as there is an upgrade path to WM6 already available for the TyTn (albeit "unofficial") and by all accounts they are very stable and fast with updates being released very frequently. bugger the warranty
So all in all, at the present I feel the HTC TyTn is still the best convergence device on the market.... that is until htc release the HTC Kaiser, I'll be having one of them...
