It's a "sample" version, which allows you to use one city's map. You are then allowed to purchase and install more maps.

Can't remember where I read that, sorry, but it seems sensible. I was pretty shocked when it looked like it came with full Tom Tom 6!

You are right. It is a sample version.... (but I wasn't familiar with the full version)

It will be interesting to see how users like the sample!
