AT&T Tilt 8925 Released 10-05 It's Official!

That's right! Finally, we can stop complaining! Well, at least about the release! AT&T does do it's part to cripple the Tilt, but it is in areas we expected, not a locked GPS! I'm telling you guys, the GPS ROCKS!!!

Check my review out, and Chris's videos, and press release.

Also, check out Chris Leckness’s unboxing video first of the AT&T Tilt by clicking here:

Lastly, the press release from AT&T regarding the release of the Tilt can be found here:

That ought to keep you busy for a while! Happy reading!

my local AT&T didn't have them yesterday (they caught an earful from me)

I am heading over there this morning.....poor manager was ready to go on a roadtrip to get me one...

I have been waiting for this one to come out! :)

I understand completely. I hunted 7 stores down and finally got one. in fact, I am writing this response on my Tilt right now.

How do I like it? I ABSOLUTELY, FREAKING LOVE IT!! GPS is fast.. I like the ruberized feel of the keyboard, and all this RAM lets me truly multitask. Microsoft Voicecomand now finally gives me my announcements on my Jawbone intead of the speaker on my 8525. Slingbox works great.. and I have no concerns anymore about runing Spb Mobile Shell, Pocket Plus, Weather and Phone Suite.

For me.. this is 95 percent perfection. I just wish PIE works like the iPhones browser. Otherwise.. that's it. Just love this device.

Opera might be a soulution. At least PIE made a few upgrades last go around... Still horrible.
I use the JawBone as well, I wanted to figure out how to get the TeleNav voice across my Jawbone instead of the speaker. I need to look into that... There has got to be some way...

Did you also notive that Windows Live is not included. The messenger program is a third party application. I was expecting the Windows Live Messenger that allows you to send files over the messenger and some other Windows Live services. I did manage to find the .CAB for it.

I have searched and found nothing about running Yahoo IM. Will it work?

Thanks,
Dan

I did notice that and downloaded Live seperately...

I don't IM that much so the third party app worked fine for now... But still is a pain none the less...

I'm not sure with Yahoo...
