Aximsitemobileicon Windows Live on The Tilt (Or lack thereof)

I noticed today that I did not have the actual Windows Live Messenger or Live Search Bar on my Tilt. Has anyone else noticed that? I thought about that as I was using the Messenger application that came with the Tilt and noticed that I did not have the ability to send files or voice clips as everyone was expecting with Windows Mobile 6.

I'd be interested in hearing other people's experience.

I noticed the same thing, except I have not tried to send files. Something else to look into...

Another thing I just noticed. So there is no TouchFLO on the Tilt, but at least HTC kept the flick scrolling capability on the phone. If I have any application that requires scrolling, I can just flick like people do on the iPhone. I know the TyTN II has this, but I wasn't sure if AT&T would keep this cute little feature. I am glad they did.

Luckily you can easily find both of the latest versions to download.

And TouchFlo can be found as well, if I'm not mistaken.

I did download Windows Live Service and TouchFlo. Though to be honest, I don't really like the TouchFlo application as much. I've been using Spb Mobile Shell, Spb Weather, Spb Phone Suite, and Spb Pocket Plus. I find the combination of these applications work better for me. The HTC Home Plugin takes up too much space and requires me to scroll too much, which I don't like.

I'm not saying TouchFlo is bad, just not for me.

Yeah, AT&T took TouchFlo out to make room for all the crappy trial software and their rip you off for media links. HOWEVER, they did include Sprite Back up so kudos to AT&T for that!

I also really like the running application drop down box now included by HTC, Nice Job to HTC. Surprisingly AT&T didn't kill that too... (Sarcastic-Maybe, true-YUP!)

Hello, I have the cingular 8525 with the old windows mobile 5.0 and I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to the new WM6. If it is, how can I upgrade my cell. Many thanks.:)

HTC has the upgrade for the 8525/TyTN. If you do some searches you will come across Radimus (famous 8525 evangelist) and find his posts on Cooked ROMS which are now legal for discussion, but not for linking. I run one also. Good Stuff!
