ETEN Glofiish M800 - TyTN II Contender?
<p><img style="border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px" height="207" alt="m800_2" src="http://mobilitysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/m800-21.jpg" width="240" align="right" border="0"/>In the US, we are all excited about the at&amp;t coming of the HTC TyTN II, the at&amp;t Tilt. Well, <a href="http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=nl_en&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fww w.pocketinfo.nl%2Fnieuws%2Fhardware%2F9210%2Fprime ur-foto-en-specificaties-van-de-e-ten-glofiish-m800.html" target="_blank">Pocketinfo.nl</a> has the word on the ETEN Contender, The Glofiish M800.</p> <p>Some specifications: </p> <ul> <li>500 MHz Samsung processor </li><li>256 MB ROM </li><li>2 cameras </li><li>VGA display </li><li>Windows Mobile 6 Professional (i.e. Windows Mobile 6 for touch-screens) </li><li>HSDPA / UMTS </li><li>SiRFstar III GPS chip </li><li>1530 mAh battery </li><li>available since November 2007 </li><li>expected price: 599 to 629 Euro </li><li>standard 2.5 mm stereo headset connector </li></ul> <p>Looks like it has everything that the TyTN II has, just a bigger battery and a VGA Screen. ( Hello Axim users that have been waiting for a converged device that isn't too big with VGA) I haven't been sold on the build quality of previous ETEN offerings, but always willing to give a company another chance, especially when the specs are so nice! </p> <p>Looks like this should be released in November 2007.</p> <p>Source : <a href="http://msmobiles.com/news.php/6768.html" target="_blank">MSMobiles</a></p><P><P><a href="http://mobilitysite.com/?p=7385">View Original Blog Post</a>

I sure hope the build quality is better than the past ETEN devices i've used.

Has anyone seen how much real RAM is in this thing? If it's 128MB, then it might be a contender since it had VGA and a faster processor than the Tilt/TyTN II, but if not, then it's just another device where you have to make a compromise - memory vs. display vs. speed vs. form factor.
