With my 8525, I've used most of the 2 GB memory on my micro SD card. Since I am purchasing the Tilt, I have an opportunity to purchase a 4 GB microSDHC card at ecost.com at a good price, But, will it work?

Im pretty sure that sdhc drivers come with wm6. B/c sdhc doesnt work on any axims, but when some users illegally upgraded them to wm6, they reported sucess with sdhc.

So if the Tilt has wm6 on it, which it looks like it does, it should work fine with both regular sd and sdhc, even in micro form. Micro are pretty much the same technology as sd cards, just smaller.

What was illegal about it? HTC Released it... AT&T didn't. AT&T was never set to support it or charge money for it... Missing how this is illegal...

He was referring specifically to people who upgraded their Dell Axim X51/X51V to WM6. That is illegal since there is no licensed copy of WM6 for them.

I haven't tried WM6 (and don't plan to if I get a Tilt ), but from what little I've read about football's image, your SD slot automagically supports SDHC. I couldn't tell you which version, though. And, of course, I'm not encouraging anyone to use illegal software

I am new to the forum, having just purchased an unlocked tytn 2. Very impressed with it so far. I bought a 6GB Sandisk MicroSDHC and it works flawlessly so far. I have about half of it filled with TomTom North America maps so far.

Im glad you like the site. I think wm6 has many drivers to take advantage of new sdhc technologies. Unlike versions before it.
