AT&T Tilt vs HTC Touch
Hey all,

I was wondering which of the two seem more worthy of buying. I know the size of the Touch, being a very slim pocket pc phone is nice, but is that a factor when comparing it to the powerful processor of the AT&T Tilt? I am interested in buying one because my Axim X30 just died on me (screen cracked). Also does anyone know how the HTC Touch screen compares that to an iphone/ipod touch? Thanks

Tilt without a doubt, the touch is nice, but text entry SUCKS!

My view is that the Touch though light is also lightweight in terms of functionality. If you are after a device with is similar functionality to x30 (not strictly), the Tilt is your device. Touchflo is more pronounced on theTouch but then, are you after Aesthetics or functionality? The ball is in your court.

You can also download the TouchFlo HTC software for your Tilt. It really makes things much better!

i have tried to find a complete .cab for the touchflo software. i have played around with the step by step instructions on xdaforum, but looks like those are hit and miss and require several steps... anyone know a location to simplify life? thanks

HTC Touch
Well alright, my question is, even though my old axim was an old 624 MHZ processor (Xscale), is that the equivalent to a 400 mhz qualcomm processor in the HTC Tilt? I really like the HTC Touch but I have heard that it is sluggish, and I could never commit to a device that lags to an extent where work is not capable

Thanks

The Qualcomm processor in the Tilt is much stronger than the 400 mhz it advertises, but it is not as strong as the 624 xscale. However, I have never had issues with my Tilt running mulitple applications. I frequently use BT Earphone, GPS, and music player. Keep in mind that my email is running also. The Tilt works great.
