Google is just not as good as Windows Live Search in my opinion. WLS has a much better User Interface and better navigation. I like the arrow over the dot as well. I did load Google Maps 1.7.1.4 to my storage card for testing. :approve:

I totally agree, Windows Live Search is far better, faster and more accurate with the listing and other info services. Another thing I used to hate about the Google Maps is inability search for a place by the name of it, but that was recently fixed, but it doesn't look like an atlas or other paper-like map. It feels cartoon-like. MSN had Atlas, which was incredible.

Live.com also has that nice birds eye view feature which gives nice close up color images from multiple directions all over the country, versus the google b&w low res satillite pics, and the close ups on a few city streets.

I haven't used google maps and am happy with free live search. On the negative side I've noticed an occasional stuck blank screen requiring a soft reset.

I have also experienced some WLS freeze ups... Soft reset and away you go...

I've had a couple of resets as well, one suprise was that in the Categories section of Postal services( I was looking for the local post office, it listed 15 post offices, but missed the 3 closest ones
