Sprite Backup Warning

I keep getting this sprite backup warning on a push to talk dat file that I do not understand. Has anyone else experieinced this? I did a hard reset (not because of this) and did not mess with the PTT hacks.

I will keep searching for answers but thought some others may have been experiencing the same issues...

I get similar errors. mine is reated to windows\compimeh.0409.dat (weather file for HTC Home I think), and something else with a really long file name.

As far as why?.. Don't know. May be similar to the pi.vol file backup issue that was floating around webis & sbsh for a while. Essentially - file is in use, can't back up.

Probably right... I did restore the back up and it worked fine. I was not sure if the errors/warnings would have caused issues with the restore funtion.

Hi there,
Warnings are not errors and most of them time that warnings display in the reports do not affect the restore operations. If the warning is telling you that the file is in use, it could be that an application is using this file this is why Sprite Backup cannot access the file. If the file is in use Sprite Backup will not be ableo to access it. Befor backup Sprite Backup send a close command to the OS, when the application receives this command they close down and sprite backups the file. If the application does not close Sprite Backup will report the warning that the file is in use. Sprite Backup will still try to backup the file and most of the time successfully but will still display the warning.
hope this helps
