Please help ASAP, need emails, error synchronizing

ok, I have the new tilt (ATT&T) for about 4 days now. Everything is great ecept emails. I installed the "kaisertweak" and microsoft mapping "live search"
program that was offered with enabling GPS. These are the only two programs I installed. Kaisertweak is set at advised setting on all applications. I set-up my email through xpress email as recommended. This is the second time I have trouble. Last time I did a hard restart and re-entered all my info and problem was corrected. Everthing was working fine yesterday, woke up this morning and when I check my email "error synchronizing" comes up. I tried soft restart, setting all my kaisertweaks to default and still nothing. Also, I was never able to get "push through" emails. I had to manually retrive them through "send and receive". Is this normal ?
My ISP is Charter.net (pop). I also re-registered with xpress w/o problems and still nothing.
I do have a data plan also for unlimted data. My registration went through fine. I can still get on the internet and media net without any problems.
Any help would be grat. ATT&T support is close today.
Please explain in easy format, this setting up email is new to me. I can get around on the tilt, just explain what setting to change if any.
I will be near the computer to answer any question

When I hit the send and receive button you can see the phone attempt hook-up with 3G media net and in a second or two the lower left conner flashes "error synchronizing"

thanks
scott

If you have a POP account I wouldn't use xpressmail. I would just use the built in Outlook or Flexmail by PocketInformant. This program is not free but it is very good. I have been using various versions of the software for 6+ years on all kind of devices.

Good luck.

You can use the built in Outlook mail to get mail directly from your POP account, and it can check automatically at intervals up to 2 hours, and either remove items from server when deleting, or leave them on the server. You can set up as many as 5 accounts that way. Probably more reliable than express mail.

Windows Mobile 6.1 Hot Fix for Sending POP and IMAP E-mail
This is a Bug in 6.1 I have been going at this for some time with a client having problems and I finally found the fix.
