This is my first post, have been reading for quite some time though...
I got my Tilt on Dec 7 and on Dec 13 the red light came on at the top of the device. It will not turn on, reboot or charge. I found some other sites :rolling: that descirbe this error as fatal. I have ordered a replacement, it still did not show up - guess there is high demand! I have installed some apps found on this site and sync'd it with my pc - so there is a ton a data on this thing - I don't want to send it back that way. Any ideas on what I can do to start is again, even if only to clear it out? This is THE best Tilt Site, so I hope someone will know.

Just got my tilt on 1/2/08 and it died on 1/9/08. Did absolutely nothing wrong to it, it just died. Great quality product HTC.

Just wanted to update you on my one week old dead ATT Tilt. Went back to the store I bought it from and they replaced it without hesitation. The sales rep said he was familiar with the problem but claims it was the first one for his store. I don't know if I believe that however the point is mute. Let's see how long this one lasts for.

I've had my phone for a few months now and the "red" light came on while charging the phone. I have the phone completely setup the way I like it and now it's got the red light from hell - joy!

By the sounds of it I'm screwed. This will be my 3rd one IF I decide to get another one. Anyone know how to fix this issue???

take the battery in and out 20 times and press the power button it will start thats what worked for me but after that the phone still started working bad battery life became bad the service became bad so i still changed it for a new one
