ok, while messaging I am trying to do everthing w/o touching the screen.
So with this, after typing in the address on the screen (the receiver) how do you bring the cursor down to the body to type the message without touchng the screen too bring it down. I have pressed every key on the slide out key pad and still canfigure it out. What key do you press tobring the cursor down to the body (its not the arrow key). I pressed every one I believe.
on my 8525 there is a TAB key beside the space bar

Tried that also "Tab" just brings me to the bottom of the screen w/o a cursor.
Info: ITs a tilt 8925 with KaiserTweak installed.
There has to be a button on this device for this function
is the "without a cursor" meaning that while the screen scrolled down, did the cursor actually go to the correct place... off screen where you do not see it.
also, some of these tweaks are for "other than US" keybaords, see it you can adjust the keyboard value to US keyboard (if that is the kind you need)

Well looking at it again, when I hit the down arrow or tab button; the view goes to the bottom of the screen but the cursor stays right behind the recievers name/number. Can not seem to move the cursor to the body were I want to type the message w/o tapping on the scene to get it there.
US keyboard here unless Louisiana uses a different type lol
just for giggles... what app are you doing this in? The build in default mail app or some other 3rd party app?
Does the tab key act appropriately in other programs?

Both down arrow and tab work for me. Do you have the function key locked on?
