How to delete emails on outlook??

Tired of messing with xpressmail. Its not reliable.
Anyway, set up on outlook like advised but is there any way for the system to remove the messages off the server after it retrieves/checks them. I do not want to have to go physically delete all the read messages. Is there a way to have this done like express did. Once it retrieved the message, it was removed.

Thanks
scott

I haven't tried it myself....but, you might be able to setup a rule in Outlook.

The Rules Wizard is pretty straight forward. I've done automatic forwarding myself. Maybe someone else can give you specifics. For me, I leave my messages on the server and delete them from my PDA.

open outlook, choose an account, choose menu (lower right), choose tools, choose options, highlight account you want, next five times then click advanced options, choose either send immediately or later, and under that is - when deleting messages - delete from server or leave on server. choose what you want, then next and you are done
