iGuidance

Picked up my AT&T 8925 or "Tilt" Friday evening. This thing is such an improvement over the old Sprint HTC 6700 I've used for the last two years! I loaded iGuidance version 3.0 North American edition on my device, and most of the U.S. maps installed on my storage card.

Took about 4 or maybe five minutes to synch into my current location and it operates just fine. Maps scroll well, very readable, and good volume on the voice directions.

I'm now going through all of the threads on this forum to see how to "customize" the beast.

I have mine set for quickest, reduced turns...the rest is up to you as far as toll roads or not.

Good luck.

I too have it installed, other than the basic menu fucntions (quickest route, etc.) I don't know of any other options. I keep my map pointed in the direction that I am going and don't use the "always orient north option".

I do have some issues as of late switching programs with iGuidance runnig, I also have SPB mobile shell - and sometimes I cannot get back to iGuidance after switching to another program. Have you seen this issue as well?

I don't use SPB Shell, but don't have issues switching apps. Normally, I only have iGuidance running alone, but have had Pocket Informant up in the background and switching is not an issue.
