vito find me

I installed the (vito find me) program to my tilt after my wifes phone was taken from her on new years. I have not been able to make it work. I activated it and double checked my configuration settings. I also changed my code word several times. I have given the code word to several friends and they do not receive any map coordinates. I guess this programs does not work on the tilt?

Any one know of a similar program that does work?

maybe the gps can't get a fix when it checks?

i recommend testing it in an open area on a clear day to ensure a quick gps connection (also test with GPSTest). If it still doesnt work, make sure the phone your sending it from doesnt auto cap its text messages because i believe its case sensitive.

I installed the program tonight. I did the gps test included with the software and it found six satellites. It still didn't work. No clue man...

yeah I know, I had six too... maybe just a bad program? I guess I will just uninstall it. I hope someone knows of a similar program that works. thanks for trying.

I tried the software too and noticed, that the SMS message (reply) was not sent due to incorrect recipient. Check the Outbox of your textmessages and you will probably find the generated reply there. The SMS textmessage seems to be formatted as an email message :rolling: (I tried to add additional recipients, and only the contact's email addresses were shown). I asked support today

and hope to get a solution soon

Hi, I gave up on the vito find me app. It just didn't work for me. I found a different app that I am testing now. Well keep me posted if and when you hear back from tech support. Thanks
