Stereo Bluetooth and talking...

I was wondering if someone KNOWS and has used stereo bluetooth. Do the headphones have a microphone too, or is stereo bluetooth JUST for listening to music.

it all depends on the type you purchase. just check the side of the package. my headphones do both. they work very well. do a search & you will find many types. $50 to $500.

I've used the motorola s9's and they're great! Not to mention stylish. I will however mention that it's rather strange talking in stereo. And yes, most BT headphone sets come with a built-in mic, but that's just as of recently.

I picked up some s9's as well. I get stuttering (the sound goes in and out) and I have not been able to track down why. It is pretty cool to be able to control volume and advance through tracks on the headset.

I just purchased the motorola s9. It works fine on the tilt for music, however the phone side sucks. Lots of static. The insignia bluetooth headphones I purchased from Best Buy are 10 times better. Just dont look as nice.

I was thinking about going with wired stereo head phones since I fly alot. Any know if BT is okay in flight? It wasn't listed in the American Way magazine as one of the forbidden items.

If they are okay... I'll buy BT.

Jabra BT3030 are AWESOME!!!!!!!

I bought the Jabra BT3030 about 1 month ago. Sound quality is very good, sounds like i'm listening through my IRiver MP3 player! I work in the back of a tractor trailer and can go to the far end while my Tilt is at the front, thats about 50 feet, and no cutting out. Talk quality is so good that nobody knows I'm using it. The best part is that you can use any standard 3.5mm head phones with it!

Plus I can plug it into my auxilliary input on my car stereo so I can listen to my music on my Tilt, then when I get a call it goes through my car speakers!! AWESOME!!!

I did notice that if the WIFI is on then it affects the audio consistency when the Tilts screen is "on" (it gets choppy), this HAS to be a TILT processor speed issue as I have heard of this problem with many headsets. It seems to affect the pairing also, sometimes it looses the pairing. Since I turned the WIFI off I have had no problems. As soon as I turn the headset on near the TIlt it picks it up and starts ROCKING!!!

I let a friend use this today with his Motorola Razor and the sound Quality was horrible, that must be a Razor thing.

Are you saying that in your car you use the Jabra BT3030 as a bluetooth receiver and connect it to the aux in jack, and you can listen to music on your Tilt through bluetooth? This is exactly what I've been looking for. I just got a Prius and the aux in jack is in the armrest, and I don't want to run wires everywhere and have been looking for a solution.

Let me clarify

I setup a standard bluetooth connection to my tilt, so now I am listening to my tilt music through the Jabra. Now I unplug my headphones from the jabra and plug in a wire (standard 3.5mm) to the jabra. the other end goes into my aux input of my car stereo.
now instead of headphones being plugged in, my car stereo is plugged in. if i get a phone call i can hear them over the cars speakers and they hear me through the jabra's mic.
So, all that I did was use a wire from the jabra to my car stereo's aux input, instead of headphones.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, and also thanks for the private message. I've had my BT3030s for a week. It's great.

I read your article. Please tell me which of the wincomm BT stack zip files listed on this site work for the Axim x51v Bluetooth audio breakout? Or other?

Thanks for great info.
