You Tube on Tilt

I went to you tube and pocket ie naturally loads the mobile version of you tube. however when I attempt to view a clip, real player says media type not supported.

real player??

currently theres limited if any support for flash or youtube video playback on windows mobile devices.

wait for skyfire (i think thats the title). a new browser coming soon thats touting flash and youtube support built-in

Use mobytube.net That is what i use.

Go to that site on your device and download tcpmp and the flv plugin. Then set the correct file associations. (There should be instructions there)

Then use the built in search on their site to find youtube videos and play them in tcpmp.

mobile youtube issues

All of a sudden HTC Streaming media cannot connect to m.youtube.com. I get the "failed to find network" error everytime I try to watch a video.

Go to ytpocket.com on your device...it explains how to install TCPMP and a flv plugin .... after doing that it works amazingly!!!

im now using the beta of opera and handing yourtube videos to coreplayer seamlessly. otherwise you can use the forementioned htc streaming media app which should have come with your device, otherwise available over at the xda developers website :)
