How does one toggle between multiple programs?

A task manager.

I like SBSH iLauncher because it places the icons for the running programs on the top bar and has a real close. MagicButton is another option that is free.

Are these some programs that I would have to download and install? Is there nothing out of the box for Tilt?

I am unencumbered by knowledge regarding what might or might not be included on a Tilt; however, the "Switcher Bar" application that was included on the Dell Axim line was grossly inferior to alternatives that the user could install.

my tytn 2 came with the htc task manager which can be downloaded seperatlely here...

i use wisbar advance as my task manager. ive disabled the htc version installed on my device. thats not to say that the htc version doesnt work well :) its a great app. i just like my skins and cascading start menu etc
