Aximsiteactivesyncicon Tilt + Vista + Mobile Device Center = ARGHH!

Here are my two issues:

1.) I cannot find a way for MDC to save a password for my device (Like ActiveSync used to) so I have to type my password on my device every time I connect it and every 15 minutes (my timeout to relock my phone) If I want to use it.

In ActiveSync once you typed your pass in when connecting it would remember it until you disconnected and reconnected the device. Until I find a way to get MDC to act the same way I have had to resort to just flat out disabling having my device lock itself. Something I VERY much dislike since it leaves my phone unlocked.

2.) When connecting my device to my computer using MDC the Tilt loses ALL data connections. 3G, Edge, and WiFi just quit working on it until I unplug it form the computer.

Does anyone have any ideas to help with the infuriating issues?

EDIT: I am using the most up-to-date version of MDC

I always thought it normal for a device to lose it's data connections while syncing via activesync or mdc. It was the same way on my sda and k-jam...

Is there a reason you're looking to keep these connections alive while you're sync'd up?
