I can send a new message, but when I go to reply to mail it says unable to send check data connection or make sure your have a data plan? any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that you have wifi unselected unless you are on a wifi network. This seems to affect my e-mail. You can also try some other e-mail programs. Check out tiltusers.com they may have some great info for you too. Just getting up and running but have some smart users on there.
