New Tilt 8925 Owner with some gnats

They are not really bugs but they are Gnats wanted to see if anyone has a work around

1 Sending and recieving E-mail I have two comcast accounts my exchange account from work and my yahoo account all set up on my 8925 they work great but if I plug it into my computer to charge then none of the accounts will send or recieve untill I do a soft reset? (weird hun) its not a huge deal but its annoying.

2. You Tube Its a brand new device I can play movies off my 4gb Microsd card with no issues I have two seasons of mash on it now for those boring meetings but if I pop over to you tube to get my stupid people doing stupid things fix I get the same error on any and all Movies
"RealPlayer Media File type not supported" anyone got a fix for that I would love to be able to see my youtube again.
I have an unlimited data plan so its not a data issue it seems to be an issue with the video player built into the tilt/8925

3. PocketTV works fine most of the time but about 1/8 of the videos I try to play show up as garble (and then unless I do a soft reset again all of the videos show up that way)

4. I use google earth its okay but anyone got a real GPS/NAv software that is free or that doesn't cost and arm and a leg

for #2 i think the best answer is mobytube dot net. Go to that site and it will link downloads for TCPMP (popular media player) and the accompanying flash plug in. After you've installed those just do your queries at mobytube and it will pull videos from youtube. when you click watch it will automatically start TCPMP and it will stream the video.

Personally I've tried youtube mobile and it seems like they give you a lower bitrate version of the video you are looking for, so the the sound/video quality sucks. I'm pretty sure mobytube pulls the same version of the video you would get if you were browsing from a desktop

On the first issue. Are you saying that you dont receive any email when in the office (I am assuming you mean connected to active sync)

I user the HTC media streamer with mobile youtube which is much better now.

In terms of free GPS.. Google, Live, and Yahoo go are all pretty good. You can download tom tom or telnavs on the premium side.

As for GPS that doesn't cost an arm and a leg I'd check out Telenav (no, it doesn't necessarily cost an arm and a leg). I've been really liking it since I got it at the end of December. They currently have a limited time offer of unlimited use for $249.99 for 4 years, which comes out to only $5.20/month. What you should do is call them up and ask them how long the limited time offer will be good for and then sign up for the 30 day free trial to see if you like it and if it's worth it to you. They've also got a $99.99/year option. Or you could do the 10 routes/month for 5.99 through AT&T if you dont want to pay too much, don't use GPS too much, and don't want to prepay for 4 years.
