HTC Tytn II
I was wondering whoever has this phone, how well does it stock up along side of the x51v as far as apps, internet, etc? What exactly is the difference between the kaiser and the "tilt"? I am thinking about getting one of these because I am tired of carrying around both cell and the pda. Can someone please give me opinions of this? If it's more convenient, then I will sell my axim and get one of these. Thanks!

The tilt is also the Kaiser, the difference in name being AT&T tilt and HTC kaiser or TyTN II. There's a difference also in the set-ups / configuration with AT&T putting emphasis on a distinct setup. Do search the forum for more on the "bloated" AT&T setup.
Now for the comparison b/w the tilt/kaiser and x51v, a lot has already been written about the graphics on the tilt which is not as good as the 51v. If you have not invested in a Micro SD or SD-HC card now will be the time if you opt for a switch. Your CF card(s) will either be sold off or given away. You can find additional material at tiltsite.com.
The tilt is currently being reviewed as a power user's device because of the multitude of functions it can undertake using WM 6 OS and the built-in GPS among others. Screen is about half the size of the 51v.
Personally, my assessment is that the kaiser has gone some way to provide a device that should in the future replace a stand-alone PDA or phone, however, there are still significant issues that need addressing in terms of capability, e.g. grahics and size of screen and the camera requires a useful flash if not more.
Carrying several devices and associated kit cannot be fun.

The Tilt is exactly the same as the TyTN II with the exception of front facing camera as far as hardware goes. The TyTN II has the distict HTC plugins that are all available as cabs. Search xda for these and you will find more reading material than you could ever imagine.
After that, the Tilt has a different radio to make better use of the AT&T network. There again, there are several radios you can swap around. I wouldn't 1.27.12.11 works pretty good for me in the south US.
The last difference is the TyTN II is WAY MORE MONEY!

I finally got my Tilt and I absolutely love it! How the heck do you get rid of all the AT&T branding they did on the phone?!?!? Everytime I start to dial I see AT&T, etc, etc... BTW, I am in the military and overseas; I use a diff SIM....

Are you just talking about when you first turn the phone on? I think there are two splash screens that come up before the WM6 screen comes up. If this is the case you go to the XDA developers website & find what you are looking for. I installed the HTC splash screen on my 8525 which is the phone before the tilt.

If you yet to reslove your AT&T issue the article and links below by Tilt guru DSmithZ28 out to be up your street:
You can "Beat the Bloat" by reading this article here:
http://tiltsite.com/2007/10/how-to-b...your-att-tilt/
If you have not already done so, search xda-developers.com for a program called KaiserTweaks. It is the most comprehensive way to make your Tilt perform like the beast that it is. Within the program, you will find a lot of settings for connections, like HSDPA. Make sure you enable these. Also, make sure that you set your internet connections correctly to maximise battery life. IT makes a SIGNIFICANT difference.KasierTweak download can be found here: KaiserTweak v0.41 (EXE: Dec 9 / XML: Dec 9, 2007)
However, I encourage you to read this thread: KaiserTweak (Dec 9, 2007) - xda-developers to better understand this program.
