this has probably been discussed a gazillion times... but i'm curious and would like a straightforward and educatedanswer..

do the messages count as TEXT messages? or from the DATA plan?

apperently both.

when you log out or in to your yahoo IM your using data. after being logged in your using your messages.

found that out last night while on the phone with someone at ATT cuz i was wondering where these data usuages were coming from. then the person told me that. i was acutally upset cuz the first person at ATT i asked about it didn't tell me that loging in and out was actually occuring data charges.
