"Installation unsuccessful...

...because its not digitally signed with a trusted certificate." I've been searching for 3 days for a workaround, but any program that I've tried has failed miserably or is not for the Tilt. And most every post that I've read never really answers the question; it just gets dismissed as some other issue.
So here I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue and has actually fixed it.

Thanks.

you need to install an app like kaiser tweak and look for the option to disable certificate checking under the "security" section. this will allow you ton install non microsoft certified apps.

kaiser tweak, sktools, and other utilities will allow you to turn off this check for certificates.

I have KaiserTweak installed. I went to the security tab and set the message to disable, but that hasn't fixed my problem. I still get the same message upon installation. A more accurate path to the file I need to modify would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks.

after you set the security check to disable, soft reset your device and you wont get that message any more

...what do you mean "an accurate path to the file you need to modify?"

Soft reset didn't matter. I don't think it's the same message that you're thinking of. This exact message reads "Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate." This is for the peer-to-peer navigation program from Navizon - Virtual GPS for mobile devices and laptop computers I had this installed once already, and I uninstalled it before I realized I could still find it useful. Now, the phone is not allowing the program to install.
KaiserTweak isn't doing the trick. What I need is to find the file that I could modify/delete to allow programs to be installed regardless of certificate.

browse on your device and see if there are any files left over from the previous install. if so delete them as that may be hanging up your reinstall.

other than that, the message your receiving IS what kaisertweak toggles off when selected... under security, Not-certified Warning. in sktools, click "tune up", then click the "system tweaks" tab and youll see "disable warning when installing non certified programs"

let me know...
