Big Smile Need help with WM WiFi Router

Hey guys I just got my tilt a couple days ago and I am very exited about it. I downloaded and installed Windows Mobile WiFi Router. The thing is it gets stuck on [Connecting...Waiting for ICS and WLAN... then if I try and do something the phone freezes and I have to pull the batt. I am able to connect to WiFi's around my area with no problem and use the EDGE and 3GP network. Any help here?

Did some research and I have to create a device-to-device (ad-hoc) connection because its not in the settings. I have no idea though any help?

You might try making a note of you Reg. number...uninstalling the program and reinstalling. Something happened to mine and that fixed it.

First, like above try re-installing the program again.

Second, Wifi Router is used to connected another device (PDA or laptop) using your phones data plan. It has nothing to do with your tilt connecting to a hot spot. In this case your phone in a sense becomes the hotspot for your pda or computer.

I have a wireless card for my laptop but tried Wifi Router for the hell of it. Its connection was just as fast as my wireless card.

you may also need to switch your wifi settings to connect to "other computers" as opposed to "access points" or "both" - I had an earlier version of wmwifirouter, and I had to manually change that every once and a while. (and i was having the same issues you had)
