Headphones dont work?!?!?
Hey guys, I just decided to use my tilt for music and every time I plug in my headphones the music continues to come out of the phone and not the headphones. They are just the standard mini usb ear buds, any suggestions?

Headphones
The mini usb plug on the 8925 is 10 pin. I suspect your earbuds are 5 pin. You'll need an adapter or an 11 pin mini usb headset.

Adam, I feel your pain. i just picked up my Tilt after being a Axim user. The clerk told me any usb will work for headphones. I picked up a MOTO and what do you know, it doesn.t work.

take them back, if they told you they should work and don't they should offer a return with no problem.
I bought one of the USB to mini plug adapters and it works great.

As a rule AT&T customer service is, at best, "challenged".

I purchased the L-shaped mini-USB to mini-stereo headphone socket adaptor so I could use standard headphones with my Tilt to listen to music. I finally got around to trying it last night with a cheap looking pair of head phones found in a drawer here at work. The sound was very low with the volume setting turned all the way up (use WMP as a player). Is that a common issue or could it just be the head phones (or even the adaptor)?

Be careful with those "L" shaped adapters. They tend to put a twisting force on the center part of the mini USB connector..and can cause it to get out of alignment.
