What is the best Video Compression for Tilt? AVI? FLV?

I've had a couple of videos I wanted to place on the tilt, but they are 700mb movies. I know I can squash them quite a bit with FLV, but the video quality isn't the best, for the Tilt it might be fine though??

Any suggestions? Thanks!

not free but you can try it for free SlySoft CloneDVD mobile | DVD to PSP, DVD to iVideo, DVD to ZEN

used the free trial and was satisfied with the results (not enough to pay $50 though)

AVI of course, you can choose your own compression method, and keep resolution matching to a tad bit lower than tilt's there you go. With AVI I mean XVID or DIVX.

Alternatively, my second preference is WMV, Just put the videos in Windows Movie Maker and spit out a nice wmv which will play on Tilt without any problems.

For converting Avi's (encoding) I always use VirtualDubMod.
