ATT Tilt Signal Strenght

I just got my Tilt 4 days ago and my signal strength is usually at 2 bars and if I get 4 bars its not often. Is this common with the Tilt or should I get a replacement? I contacted ATT but they aren't much help. My last phone was a Razr and I always got 4 bars, but its not the same with the Tilt

Not that it has been entirely scientific, but I have actually gotten pretty decent coverage in my area compared to my razr I used to have. I would at least try and find someone that could hold their phone next to yours to see how good their signal is compared to yours.

I get the same results with my V3xx. The signal is usually stronger on the V3xx but it cannot hold the signal and goes between the edge and 3G causing buffering problems and dropped calls when alternating. My Tilt holds the signal much better but I still have problems when alternating from 3G to Edge. I finally got a program for my tilt that allows me to select auto or either Edge or 3G solving the dropped calls and buffering problem.
