Hello. Does anybody know if the TouchFlo software is available and working for the Tilt? Anybody have or try it? Thanks.

Also, anybody have comments about which is better......Operamini or Skyfire????

Yes, it is available. It comes pre-baked in a lot of the custom roms over at xda-developers. I think they also have cabs for it.

I had it running on my Tilt (both the cube and just the standard TouchFLO bit) and it worked well. I don't use the cube anymore because SPB mobile shell does the same thing and does it better (functionally speaking), but the scrolling features are still active on mine and work well.

Should I uninstall Quickmenu then? Do I have to uninstall anything else?

I'd keep quick menu, as it still does some useful things, like 'true close' on 'OK' and stuff like that. QuickMenu and SPB Mobile Shell are two programs for completely different tasks. QuickMenu customizes your start menu and gives you some nice task management features. SPB Mobile Shell changes your 'auto on' interface and makes the whole phone very "thumb friendly".

Excellent. Thanks, I'll try it this weekend. After some reading, it looks like it might be a little bit of a hassle to try the free version then upgrade. Should I just buy it instead?

Always try before you buy...

Take a backup of your system first though if you're going to be adventurous

I use SPB backup... or Sprite backup.

both will take a snapshot of your system and save it to your sd card. which you can the restore

FWIW, it isn't a hassle to upgrade. The trial version is the full version with an expiration date. If you like it and purchase it, SPB sends you a registration code. Then, you just go to the registration menu, type your code in, the software will unlock and you're good to go.

Thanks guys. I'll do both this weekend. I'm traveling to North Carolina and get to try out the GPS finally. Thanks again.
