Do you know of a comparison chart for the spb mobile shell, spb pocket plus, and spb diary? How do they compare to one another?

You could always check the reviews here on mobilitysite. There won't be an actual chart because those programs are all two different to be compared to each other like that. But, the reviews will give you a good idea of what they do. Or, you could just go download the free trials and play with them yourself.

Opera mini on ie button...

I am going nuts here... I want to make the ie button for my tilt launch opera mini instead of ie. I found what I thought were instructions on how to do this. I have tried these steps about 5 times now... Go into word mobile, type the 28# script, save it as a txt file, move it to the win\start menu\prog folder, assign it to the ie button, right? All that happens when I press the ie button is that it launches word mobile, PLEASE HELP!!!!

Try Start, Settings, Buttons.. Then change the assignment for Button 1 from Internet Explorer to Opera Browser. That works for me

I'm not sure about the word mobile shortcut method. There's probably a way to make that work, but I don't know it off the top of my head.

Some alternatives would be to use the shortcut capabilities of QuickMenu (free) or iLauncher (non-free) to make a shortcut that you could then assign to the buttons.

I would also recommend you to check out iwindowsmobile site there are many programs worth looking at.
You may try new Winterface.
Here is the link to a bunch of independent reviews on Winterface.
Here are the screenshots:
