well i have had my tilt for just over 30 days...and its toast...heres the story(maybe a little long)....

came out to vegas on a temporary duty...and hell yea they have 3G!!! well few days ago i decided a nap was needed before i tasted the night life. phone was sitting at about 53% so i plugged it in, and all was well. woke an hour or so later to the RED LIGHT OF DEATH!!!!!! i was so mad i could puke. after i calmed down i got on to xda and found a possible fix for the red light of death...

oh yea it came back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well next thing i realized is that i could not get service for anything. it would bounce back and forth between edge and 3G. also my battery life went to two hours or so for a full charge!

off to the at&t store i go. well to try and cut this a little shorter, the guys at the store had a cab that allows you to turn off 3G network if you want.

what was happening as said before the network was bouncing back and forth and never giving it time to connect. well i guess the 3G radio had died with the RLOD. so when it bounced back and forth it was killing the battery. this only partially works in my case my signal is very intermittent.

called at&t warranty...the guy was blown away with all of the stuff that i had actually tried to get it to work ( hard reset , soft resest and the cab), he had no clue and neither did his surpervisor. so i lucked out with this guy and ended up getting a new tilt at no charge to me and also overnight shipped to me which is awesome! at&t actually came through for me on this one.
