I have the ATT Tilt and hate the Real Player that comes with it because at the moment, it is completely useless to me.

I have CorePlayer and want to set is as the default player because when I use sites like DailyMotion, I can't open the videos. They open in Real Player and the video fails to show.

Is there a way around this without getting FlashBundle/TMCMP combo since I already have coreplayer? Is there a way to delete realplayer without flashing a rom that doesn't have it? Is there a way to make CorePlayer my default streaming player?

In coreplayer go to the tools menu. select preferences, select the file associations page and then click on the file types you want it to be default for

Don't you need to change the MIME settings for the browser(for streaming media, at least) as well?
Does coreplayer do it automatically?

Ought to be easy to do manually(through settings, registry editing or a hack(but I dunno if it resides in some magical unwrittable place in ROM)).
