Icon14 new tilt owner

Just ordered my tilt, should have it by Monday. I guess thats good cuz theres a hell of a lot of reading up to do! I thought hacking my Mio was fun, I should be real busy with this baby.
Anyway, was reading all this info and now I'm sort of on overload. Any suggestions on what one or 2 essential mods are a must do?

Thanks
j

Welcome to the site...

1st I'd remove the AT&T bloatware-->hard reset, walk thru the welcome stuff and when you see the "reset in 3 seconds" message do a soft reset.

2nd
Read everything over @ Kaiser - xda-developers

Thanks for those suggestions, bloat WILL be first... I read thru the top 10's and Kaiser will be next.
Thanks!

Well, got it today and so far I'm lovin' it. Ditched the bloat, installed a few plugins, wallpapers, themes, KaiserTweak, HTC Home and LiveSearch. Gotta get GoogleMaps going, I'm not a MS fan, If this thing ran linux, It'd be perfect!

I need to go RTFM and tweak some more

Why would I want to change to an OS that doesn't support all of the hardware goodies packed into my box and has virtually no software for it?
