charging the tilt when it is an HSDPA modem

I'm using the tilt as an HSDPA modem for my PC, but doing this drains the battery of my tilt. Is there a way that I can charge my tilt while using it as a modem? Maybe I have to tweak a setting, hopefully nothing is wrong or unusual.

Google tilt audio cable. Some sites sell an accesory which has two mini usb's and a stereo jack on it. This should do it. Plug your sync cable in with your charger cable. Or try two sync cables maybe one will charge.

Bottom of the screen - there's an option "When the device is turned on, Do not charge the battery when connected to the PC"
Make sure thats unchecked

I tried using the stereo headphone adapter with 2 usbs in several configurations, but I could not get it to work. I did discover that my tilt only stops charging when it is receiving or transmitting large volumes of data, such as streaming video or downloading a large file. If the connection is then idle for a little while, the tilt will start charging again. I also made sure that "When the device is turned on, Do not charge the battery when connected to the PC" was unchecked in the advanced power settings. If I can't figure this out, then I probably just have to be conservative about my bandwidth usage.
