Remap of PTT button help please!!

Hello, could someone please help me remap my PTT button? I can't figure out how to do that. I've found one method on XDA site but couldn't get it to work. I don't know if it was wrong or if I was doing it wrong. Thanks a ton.

1. copy the attached PTTFix.cab to your device.
2. Using File manager, tap on the cab file to install PTTFix.
note: when asked, you must install this to your Device. The service dll will not load if installed to your storage card!
3. Reset your Hermes device
4. Use personal settings->Buttons to customize Button 5 settings if necessary.

I was able to remap my PTT button a couple of weeks ago with a Tilt review over at Pocketables | Portable Gadget Reviews, News, and Commentary.

Go to the site and do a search for "Tilt".
The 3rd search result is "10 tips for fixing the AT&T Tilt.
From there go to 10 more tips for the AT&T Tilt.
Find tip #4 - Remapping the PTT button.

BTW, tip #5 is also good. Install VibraSwitch. This will "enable you to toggle between normal, silent, and vibrate settings with a quick push of a button."

I hope this is helpful.:approve:
