I work across the street from an AT&T store and the suck...I mean customers are lined out the door. The local media is there and everything. Where was our media circus when the Tilt was released? Maybe I'm feeling a little jealous. Anyway we all know we have the better device (inspite of its drawbacks).

I little bit of irony. The very same store was sold out of Tilts the day I wanted to buy mine. I had to go to another store later that afternoon.

Another thought. Who's to say Apple won't release another device instead of updating the software. I just saying...

In the uk its being sold by O2, carphone warehouse + Apple.

This morning, 1 hour before O2 opened there were as many as 5 people in the queue.

At lunchtime no queues at another branch of O2 by our office, you could walk straight in and 6 staff would beckon you over and sell you one...

Carphone warehouse were sold out, but had a hand written sign saying they'd have lots on Tuesday... and begged people to order it now.

Maybe thats why they were always called queue lines in Roller Coaster Tycoon. The programmer for this game was from Europe, and that must be the "English" equivalent to our American "waiting line" or something similar.

Back to the topic, Iphones are just over-advertised and a must have device. That is why so many people feel the need to get them. But less advertised devices such as the tilt are just as good, and especially since they come with windows mobile on them and the iphone doesnt.

Over the years of using windows mobile, i have become addicted to some softwares that are only for windows mobile, and if i ever get rid of my axim for a phone, it would have to be one with wm.

honestly i feel really lucky i was just watching something on tv about the iphone, they showed the att coverage network for 3g. Its not very big at all i feel pretty blessed to get 4g in my area!

Anyways the iphone looks really nice acaually especially the new app store. It seems very functional as a phone not so functional as a pda. mini computer whatever you wanna call it. There is now way in hell id ever buy one until they fix some stuff. #1 its advertised as a music phone yet has 8gig storage :(, #2 no bluetooth stereo support, #3 no mms, wtf is that all about how hard is mms and stere bluetooth to implement. Also the lack of a true keyboard is sort of a turn off. I like feedback under my fingers when i use a sip on the tilt i use handwriting recognition with the iphone also doesnt have.

I think MS really needs to push at CE more as a platform get some more serious developers besides resco and spb. If CE was as easy and flashee as the iphone a i garuntee apple wouldnt stand a chance.
