Problem setting up voicemail!

Yesterday, I spent two hours in AT&T fighting it out about how much I hate the iPhone and needed to upgrade, or "downgrade" as the man called it. After battling it out about being two days early to upgrade, he let me go and I bought the tilt. Not much of an upgrade when they only take $100 off, but that's not the point. I'm bitter about the iPhone aha, had it for a year and gave me nothing but grief.

So now I have the Tilt, and every thing is great, I love it. Love the stylus and everything about it. I can't set up my voice mail. Does anyone know how to set it up? If so, could you please, please walk me through the steps. I've read the guide, I held the "1" down for a few seconds until it connected me, but then it asked me to put in the voicemail number of a person I wanted to leave a message for. WHAT? I just want to set my own up! I put in my number, it says it's not a "valid" voice mail box number.

Help?

Do you have the same phone number as you iPhone had? If different, then it sounds to me like AT&T has not set it up yet. If it's the same number, the phone may not be ID'd properly by the voice mail system. Either way, you need to call AT&T support as there is nothing on the phone for you to setup for voice mail.

I had the same problem. You have to take it back to the store and they'll set it up.
