Newby to Pocket PC Help

Hello all. I'm new to this forum & new to the whole pocket pc world. I'm sure there are TONS of people that ask these questions however, I would like some pointers on cool stuff for my phone. I have the HTC-Tilt. Got it from a guy that bought the new iphone. All I got was the phone & nothing else. It works great but, I see all these videos on youtube about the icube, free wifi & other stuff & was wondering if anyone could help me out. I really appreciate it.

Josh

Steve,
Thanks for the heads up. However I tried that site & that's what got me here. I REALLY need the cd that comes with the phone to get started. Any chance you know a place where I could D/L it?

The CD just has trial software on it and ActiveSync which you can download free from MS. It also has the manual but that is also available online.

If you are looking for applications or games for the phone to jazz it up, I recommend these sites. They are SO pretty and easy to use.

Wireless Gaming - Mobile Games for Smartphone & PDA Devices; Mobile Game Store

Wireless Apps - Setting the Mobile World Free - Mobile Applications for Smartphone & PDA Devices

Hope this is useful. I know of other sites but don't want to spam or anything. lol.

Tilt & Vist

I have been using my tilt for several months with XP and no problems. I just started using Vista and the syncing is different. I am using WinMobile 6 Professional. Should I upgrade?

On Vista machines, you have to use mobile device center. If isn't pre-installed you can download it from Microsoft's site. It works just like Activesync.
