I want to know what is the latest ROM version for the AT&T Tilt.

I recently bought one and I think is out of date.

I too need to update my rom... I sent a support email to HTC two days ago and have yet to hear back. My rom is at 1.57.502.2 dated 08/25/07. Yep... I got one of the first ones out.

I downloaded the instructions and my question to HTC was do I update the ROM now with the version out there or wait for WM6.1?

No response.

I have added programs so I assume that once I update the ROM it'll be like a new phone without all my stuff in there.

I'll backup first but my question is will a restore put everything back or do I have to reinstall all my programs from scratch?

If you're installing a different ROM version I would install everything manually. Look in your different apps to see if theres an export settings option
