yahoo messenger on Tilt?
Is it possible to get a messenger on the Tilt without using SMS or do they all use SMS?

Trying to avoid charges...

I just tried Yahoo Go and get an error when it starts telling me to restart. I tried a reset, and Yahoo Go is still a No Go.

OK, so got it to work by reinstalling and using an older Yahoo ID. Makes no sense to me as I am able to login to Yahoo and Yahoo Messenger with either ID.

So now that the program is working, I can't find Messenger in it.

Under Yahoo's mobile offerings I found Messenger, and it is using SMS :(

yeah, AT&T wants you to pay $20 a month for unlimited messaging. If you plan on using YIM a lot you might want to think about that option.

Are you guys talking about the Yahoo WAP Messenger?
That connects thru your browser so shouldn't it be under the Data plan?

Real nice app. but not free, or cheap (G).. the review doesn't mention you can buy a forever subscription. I think it was about $44

Try the free trial and I think you may think it is worth it. Especially the "send a voice message" feature

I'm also using Agile Messenger and purchased the forever license. I was trying the Yahoo application as I was hoping it would not log of my PC's YIM each time my Tilt logs on. But they must have folded to AT&T (they are ISP partners).

The only time it has a problem is when I drop out of 3G. On edge, its really slow - as is any of the internet.
