Uninstall

I'd like to uninstall programs from my Tilt that do not appear on the Uninstall screen (like the games, etc). Please tell me how to go about that.

THX!!

Unless you install one of the doctored ROMs that have removed this software, you cannot uninstall any of the pre-loaded software. Even if you could, this would not free up any space that you could use, since these applications are includeed in the portion of memory that you don't have access to.

If you hard reset your Tilt, when it comes back up you will see a "preparing for customization" window pop up. It only lasts a few seconds.

While the message is on the screen, soft reset the unit and the AT&T rom will load without installing any of the AT&T apps.

Being a hard reset, you will also lose any programs and data you have in your device. You will end up with the Tilt as it was brand new, only without the AT&T apps.

Perform a hard reset by going to Settings... System and tap "Clear Storage".
