Sending Email?

I have set up an email accnt on my Tilt, I can receive mail with no issues but I can not send any mail. I have double, and triple checked my servers and everything is correct. I jsut keep getting error messages.

I have a Time Warner Cable accnt: nc.rr.com

Anyone?

This problem really bothered me too. (Time Warner: kc.rr.com) I could send email via wifi or when connected to ActiveSync. But when I could not get it to go otherwise. I found the solution on the ATT user forum.

The solution: Use cwmx.com as your outgoing (SMTP) server. I do have "Outgoing server requires authorization" and "Use the same user name..." both checked.

Now, one note: I got this to work using the built-in Messaging but not Flexmail. So far, I have not had the time to research it on Webis's forums or support.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot buckyg, I will save this info.

I reset the express mail and that finally deleted my pop accnt, i then went back in and set up a new mail accnt and let the softward look for the settings and now it seems to be working. I have at least be able to send 1 email....LOL

Thanks again...

Glad that helped! Looks like you also figured out how to get the pop account deleted too. It's a great feeling when you can get little nagging problems fixed, isn't it?
