I run a business where I need to be available by cell phone for emergencies, however I don't want to be alerted for every junk e-mail throughout the night. I also use the phone's alarm as my alarm clock so I don't think I can simply silence all non-phone functions.

Is there an easy way to either:
1) Disable the e-mail noise without having to drill down into the sound settings? It is a pain to click each box for noise, flash, vibrate.

-or-

2) Disable the e-mail send/receive without having to drill down into the e-mail account settings?

I use SBP phone suite to do exactly that. It has automatic and custom profiles that you can set. one of them is a time based setting so you could set it from 10pm to 7am to only alert a phone call (or whatever you want). Its pretty cool. I have mine set so it goes to silent mode automatically when my calendar has a meeting scheduled.

Ditto on SPB Phone Suite, I love being able to set a profile on the fly with a couple presses of the finger. I have profiles for night without any sounds except phone calls. I could also put it on white list so only calls from those listed can get through. I have a profile for going onto bluetooth, meetings, car, silent, etc.
