AT&T Tilt Screen randomly turning on.
Just got my Tilt on monday, and the screen will NOT stop turning on! I've tried everything to make it stop, I can't even count the amount of times I've hard reset it. Regardless, does this happen to anyone? Is mine just defective? Any input is appreciated.

Literally EVERYTHING, went through every menu, looking at when to auto turn off etc. Nothing has fixed it thus far.

Hope you know the included IM program is text message based. So your ok if you have a good texting plan, because the data plan does not include texting.

You have to go into your "task manager" and make sure that all processes are stopped. You can access this through the icon at the very top right of your screen; or through your settings link. Once there, select stop all.....and also on that screen you'll see at the bottom a "MENU" button...press that and choose memory, then running processes again and stop those too. This will reduce or stop the amount of times your screen turns on again. Anything that checks mail, checks for updates...randomly turns thing on...but if there turned off, it should stop this from happening to you. I suffered from it too, until I located the task manager option.
Hope this help..
